Small business retention & growth task force
We advocate for our small business community, promoting them through awareness programs and providing training sessions to help them navigate the challenges they face.
Throughout the year, we host roundtables and panels touching on topics ranging that are important to small businesses. Whether it is understanding how new legislation will impact your business and what you can do to mitigate risk or learning about wage trends and talent development.
We collaborate with the Central UP Small Business Hub, SBDC of Michigan, and the Dickinson Area Chamber of Commerce to ensure our small business have access to education, grants, and other resources.
Loyal 2 Local is our flagship campaign to raise awareness about the importance of staying local when shopping for yourself or your business.
Stimulating retention of existing business through awareness programs & educational events.
